5 ways to train in college

Taking time to train in college is extremely important and many students are not aware of the fitness options available to them. Fortunately, there are several convenient ways to get in shape on campus for even the busiest student!

1. Go

Go to classes, go to the dining room, go to explore campus, just get out and go! You will be amazed at how many calories you can burn - 272 calories per hour for a person of 150 kg. My first year of school, I found a friend, and we walked through downtown Milwaukee and along Lake Michigan. Not only did we get good exercise, but I learned a lot about the city I lived in and took some beautiful views of the lake. It was a great way to relieve stress and get some fresh air after a long day of teaching and homework.

Take advantage of Group Fitness

Many campuses have excellent gyms that new students may not be familiar with. Group fitness is a great way to meet people who are interested in the same things you are. Working with others also makes you feel more responsible for your fitness goals. These facilities often offer discounts if you want to try several classes or commit to a semester in a program. During my sophomore year in college, I took a kickboxing class. The class was at 7:00 at night, which gave a much needed break from studying and allowed me to beat and sweat a little stress out.

Buy an exercise program

This is my main source of exercise as a student. Home exercise programs are, in my opinion, the best way to stay fit in college. Not only do you burn lots of calories, but you can perform all the exercise programs in your dorm room. There are so many great options to suit your fitness goals, so send me an email so I can help you find the best workout program for you!

4. Take the stairs

One of the easiest changes you can make is to always take the stairs. I know many of my classes used to be on the third, fourth, or even fifth floor, and my dorm room was on the fifth floor. All these stairs are really added! Say you were to spend 15 minutes walking up stairs in the course of a day you would have burned 130 extra calories for a 150kg person. That's a lot!

5. Join an internal sports team or club

This is a perfect way to meet new people with similar interests while training at the same time. Sports are so much fun, and many campuses offer a wide variety of intramural teams. You can continue a sport you followed in high school or branch out and try something completely different. Another option is to join a student club such as rowing or fencing, which can also be a great way to train while learning a new วิธีออกกำลังที่ดี.

The most important thing is to find the best form of exercise that works for you and stick to it. You will feel good and as a result be more productive in school and less stressed.
